In the first quarter of 2021, thanks to the community’s support, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation granted your not-for-profit hospitals over $2.6 million in support of three programs and 10 capital projects.

Each year, Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation presents our Golden Flame Philanthropy and Distinguished Physician Leadership Awards to members of our community. We are proud to announce our 2021 Award Recipients and look forward honoring them at the Annual Meeting on September 29th. 

Thanks to the generosity of the late Wil and Madonna Ptak over a decade ago, the Foundation is proud to be a part of a revolutionary breakthrough in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

In light of the pandemic, Bylli Peiper and her partner, Maria Pirone, felt strongly about ensuring that breast cancer patients continue to have access to care in the absence of the support that comes from the annual concert, so they made a personal donation.

Living through a pandemic presents unique challenges to everyone. Whether it is missing life events, working from home, losing a job or having school online, everyone has been affected by this new “normal.”
